To be a balm for anybody with troubled conscience
To lead the sinners to hope for forgiveness
Your love and compassion for all, as now I witness

LOVE ME EVEN ONLY TILL SPRING

Love me even only till spring
When all the birds and brooks will sing
And all the daffodils with the wind swaying
Then leave me if you must but I will not be crying

For the love songs of nature will keep me happy
As all the flowers and birds keep me company
Though my wounded heart will feel the pain
