I asked God for forever but he said he will just grant me a day
He created light before all his creations enough to light my way
For sunshine is enough to let the moon shine through darkness
To give food to every pl...ant to bear fruits of holinesss

Then every corner and bend He guides me with His light
Starting with the first kiss of His dew with the sunlight
Asking for my mission for the day in His altar table
For food of forgiveness and salvation, stemming from a stable

I made a movie hoping for success
Dreaming that with money my endeavors He will bless
For money comes with bankable artists
Making their agenda to be last in the lists...

Then I scouted for people with virginal souls
Who would not cower from the most frightful roles
Who will light up a candle through darkness
Who with unselfish love, people through them, God will bless

The movie won the highest award
With my name in the hall of fame as reward...
Then each night as I go to bed to sleep
I pray that for the movie stars my promises I would keep....

I will be the candle holder for you to give light
That you may not be afraid to do what is right

I will be the wax to fuel the wick...
To keep burning the flame of love in us, as we seek

I will be the pot that will hold the plants and the flowers
That springs from Heaven with the April showers

I will be the bird singing from the tree outside
To ease the guilt for all those who lied

I will be the preacher standing at the pew
To give the breath of salvation for a life anew
