AS WE ENTERED THE CEMETERY

As we entered the cemetery
Riding in a car with my son and his family
I felt peace and silence within me
As I saw the graveyards all looking up to Thee

All souls at peace with Heaven
With their sins at peace for being forgiven
Lord when my time has come for me to go
I pray that my sins will be forgiven also

Lord, help me not resist your grace
In my mind and heart make my soul to receive you always
Though following your will might cause me to suffer
Every moment of my life be spent in praising you forever

Lord my pride stops me from surrendering myself totally
I sometimes want to leave something of myself for me
This selfishness Oh Lord do remove
Every time I falter, in its right place this heart do move

AS I LAID MY HEAD ON MY PILLOW

As I laid my head on my pillow
I mused over the spectacle of the afterglow
That I watched yesterday from the window
I felt the forgiveness that God did bestow

His divine mercy gave me hope again
After feeling forsaken
For I felt anger and hatred within
After people who against me did sin

These feelings inside of me
Made me tired and weary
But after feeling the forgiveness of God for me
From all my anger was I then set free

Making me stronger
Driving me to go on praising Him forever...

THE GOLDEN SUNSET

As I caught a glimpse of the sky
I saw the golden sunset up on high
The setting of the sun
After the day is done

Like the sun reaching for the horizon
As it come to life again at the coming of the dawn
Let your mercy shine on me
As I lay to rest, to wake up again in your eternity

Lord,I am tired and weary
I want to rest and go with Thee
But then there are some people who still need me
To lead them to the way to eternity

Lord can I still stay a little bit longer
Make my body to be stronger
That I can serve you better
