Darling in Heaven, is there no fear
A word of consolation for every tear
An ounce of courage to conquer doubt
A love so true, so sure to shout about

Darling in Heaven is there no hate
For every storm God will abate
With God in the midst, is there no greed
For every hunger, food for everybody to feed

LORD TEACH ME TO BE HUMBLE

Lord, teach me to be humble
To reach out to others be able
To give love to all who need it most
To give light to those who are lost

Lord, teach me to reach out to others
not be complacent with the road I traverse
The road to thee may be hard and narrow
Let me give space to those in sorrow

Let me not be cooped up with my own salvation
Let me welcome others with you in Heaven's reunion
Lord, teach me how to be happy and loving
That can only be attained by being forgiving
