Lord I turn to you
Please tell me what to do
My problems seem to defeat me
I surrender my yoke to Thee

Barely surviving from day to day
Almost giving up to my dismay
Help me go on chasing my dream

Jesus let me discern your will

AS PAINFUL MEMORIES SETS IN

When painful memories sets in
As I remember my grievious sin
A sin against my brother
That blurrs my vision to forever

Does that mean you have not forgiven me Lord
For not following truly your word
"Love your neighbor as yourself," you said
I am sorry that I harbored some hatred

Come my Lord forgive me
By offending my brother I have offended Thee
May I truly be forgiven of my sin
And let not the painful memories set in

Have you no time for your brother
For little things you don't want to bother
But these little things need your attention
Before they go out of proportion

Children begging in the street
Wanting for food to eat
Stealing left and right
For something sweet to bite

When discontent sets in
causing me to sin
Coveteousness corrupting me
Desiring possesions of others I see

Honor, fame or gold
That others have that I behold
Forbid any feeling of envy
That my cause discontent in me

When discontent sets in
Come Lord cleanse me within
Come empower me with your love
The most precious possesion I can have

When God says no
I will willingly forego
When God says so
