LILIES AND DAFFODILS

Lilies and daffodils across the hill
Beckoning to me as I stand still
Swaying in the wind in symphony's grace
Painted by God as nature's lace

Beauty abounds before my eyes
As early as the first sunrise
Outlining the flowers in golden hue
As the sun rises to bid the hills adieu

Oh God of creation how did I deserve this
Seeing your spectacular show in full bliss
As I turn my back from your grand show
Let the happiness in my heart set my deeds aglow
