Honesto, to remind us of this trait
Bread stolen, we never ate

With all the talents you passed on to me
And all the education made possible by thee
Marrying me out to a decent man
Who took care of me like what you've done

Nilabanan ang sarili

Lilies and daffodils across the hill
Beckoning to me as I stand still
Swaying in the wind in symphony's grace
Painted by God as nature's lace

Beauty abounds before my eyes
As early as the first sunrise
Outlining the flowers in golden hue
As the sun rises to bid the hills adieu

Oh God of creation how did I deserve this
Seeing your spectacular show in full bliss
As I turn my back from your grand show
Let the happiness in my heart set my deeds aglow

Sakay na kabayan
Sa karitela kong hiram
Ako ay patungong pantalan
Upang makalimutan ang dinaramdam

Karitelsng hinihila ng isang kabayo
Na may piring ang mga mata
Upang derecho ang takbo
Patungong eskuwela

Ituring na ang pamamasyal
patungong ibayo
Ay isang pahinga
mula sa kalbaryo

Bagong mukha na dating kasintahan
Na kumislot sa isipan isang sinakulo
Nandito ako, mahal na kaibigan
Upang gabayan ka, hangang dulo

Thousands of red roses in the lobby
As red as the hotel's carpets as can be

Laman ng kalye, gabi at umaga
Dumi sa katawan hindi alintana

Anak ay arugain nang hindi matulad sa kanya
Bahay ay ipundar habang may pera
Kailangan laging may barya sa bulsa
