TREES REACHING OUT

Trees reaching out for each other
From the opposite sides of the road
A never ending quest for forever
Do they have a right my Lord?

I looked up to witness the romance
Their leaves touching each other above
A kiss entwined in endless time of chance
Leaving me to a wonderful feeling of love

Acacia trees planted on each side
Trees filtering the sun almost hid the sky
The campus road desserted as I waited for a ride
An encounter with yesteryears that refused to die

Your love and compassion for all, as now I witness

Love me even only till spring
When all the birds and brooks will sing
And all the daffodils with the wind swaying
Then leave me if you must but I will not be crying

For the love songs of nature will keep me happy
As all the flowers and birds keep me company
Though my wounded heart will feel the pain
My tears will be washed with the coming of the rain

Till summer when a new season start

Fall will come as the trees shed its hair
