COME HOLY SPIRIT LIGHT MY LAMP

Come Holy Spirit, light my lamp
As I start the day bearing fruit
That I may not be lured to the enemy's camp
With your gift of wisdom let me not be astute

With Fortitude that I may stand up for Jesus
Specially among people who use God's name in vain
Your seven gifts leading me to the path to choose
That for all nations... peace, unity we gain

HAVE YOU EYES BUT DO NOT SEE

Have you eyes but do not see
All the sufferings before thee
Despair under the guise of a smile
That hides their brokenness for awhile

Have you ears but do not hear
When someone says "I love you dear"
Spoken softly as he prayed
Failing to hear, farewell you bade

Have you the voice but failed to talk
With a hardened heart, away you walk
Can you not hear and see
That broken person is me...

IN WHATEVER YOU DO

In everything that you do
Do it for the Father above
That evil may not have it's way
Jesus is with you with His love

Fill your mind with the Spirit
Cast away the spell of Eve
Renew every moment your promise
As your fidelity to God you give

With your heart full of humility
Invoke the Triune God, the Trinity...

THE PATH TO THEE

I want to walk the path to thee
The path that leads to eternity
To take the road to holiness
To seek for all sins, forgiveness

Lord, give me the grace of strength
To stay within the fold at any length
No matter how much suffering I will face
Grant me the fortitude to remain in your grace

HOW DO I LOVE THEE MY GOD

How do I love Thee My God
I love thee through all the pains
Through all the good and the bad
With no unforgiveness that in my heart remains

How do I love Thee my God
Through all sorrows and joys of my soul
With all your glory that makes me awed
With all your blessings that makes me whole

AS YOU GREET ME LORD

As you greet me to your presence Lord
Flowers in bloom proclaiming your word
Different hues as my sight behold
Your spirit I feel in a tree's treshold

God proclaiming the beauty through each hue
As I stood not alone in the garden but with you
Then as I walked away greeting me in the street
Your presence everywhere through people I meet

As a bird flying caught my attention above
It perched on the wires with a multitude of dove
Many are your blessings greeting me this morning
Thanking you as through this poem I sing

WHAT WILL HEAVEN BE LIKE

What will heaven be like?
Let me describe what it is not
It is a place where there is no hate
No envy or unforgiveness in the heart

For God will be in your midst
All the feelings in you will be love
A desire to glorify Him in your soul
The Trinity reigning, eternal bliss above
