LORD I AM TIRED

Lord,I am tired and weary
I want to rest and go with Thee
But then there are some people who still need me
To lead them to the way to eternity

Lord can I still stay a little bit longer
Make my body to be stronger
That I can serve you better

Lord, if this is your will for me
Help me accept it with serenity
Help me discern your plan
That I may faithfully serve you oh Holy One

Believing that all that happens is with your blessing
Makes me accept with Faith all events that you bring
Knowing you will never forsake me
Makes me peacefully happy

Peaceful in finding a life with you
Oh Jesus with your words so true
I know you will never leave my side
For me to the Father's commandments abide

To lead me on to your eternity
Praising you with the Father and the Holy Spirit in endless glory

CHASTITY AMIDST DIFFICULTIES

After my husband died, I immediately had a grotto housing an image of the Virgin Mary built in front of our home I felt the presence of the Virgin around through the image, protecting me from all difficulty and harm.
When my only child Archie got married, he moved out with his family to their own condo. I was left alone especially in the evenings after our stay-out helps had gone home. Though alone, I was not afraid because I know the virgin was with me.
Chastity was my last bastion of strength and dignity. In the midst of hunger and emotional difficulty after my husband died I managed to resist temptations because her image was always a reminder to me to keep my chastity for my Faith in her son, Jesus Christ.
By the grace of her Son, Jesus, we were blessed enough financially that I was able to afford to stay in a nursing home the owners, and the staff and some patients sharing my devotion to the Virgin.

That makes this face aglow
Just a feeling that I love you

Just a feeling that is enough
No need to make make me your better half
Just seeing you once in a while
Gives me the reason to smile
